Developing Future Technology Talent Through T Level Industry Placements

Core Guard Group works with BMet students through T Level industry placements, providing practical exposure to software development, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, access control, biometrics and security technology projects.

Our developers mentor students directly, exposing them to live development workflows, coding, Azure DevOps, Sentinel Access and real commercial technology environments.

Education Partnership with BMet

Core Guard Group works alongside Birmingham Metropolitan College (BMet) to support structured T Level industry placements in security technology, access control, software development and operational support. These relationships help bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world professional environments.

T Level Industry Placements

Students join supervised T Level industry placements designed to develop practical skills in a safe and structured setting. Placement activity takes place within non-live testing environments, ensuring students gain hands-on experience without exposure to live operational systems or sensitive data.

T Level Ambassador

Core Guard Group holds T Level Ambassador membership, working alongside other employers to share best practice in industry placements and to stay current with developments in the T Level programme. It reflects a continuing commitment to the scheme rather than a one-off placement.
